The L10-A complex in block L10 lies approximately 65 kilometers off the coast of Den Helder and is made up of four platforms that are interconnected by means of steel bridges. The L10-AD platform is the first platform that was placed on the Dutch continental shelf (1972). In 1975 the complex was expanded upon with the L10-AP production platform and the L10-AR riser platform, as well as the addition of the L10-AC compressor platform in 1987. Both the riser platform and the compressor platform are property of Noordgastransport B.V.

The L10-A complex is the largest platform and is also the junction of the offshore-infrastructure. The natural gas that is produced in the surrounding fields is transported through the Noordgastransport pipeline via L10-A to the main land.
